| Q1:
Can I get a spoiler for my car like the factory makes?
A1: Depending
on what type of car you own, there is a good chance you can. Most
of the spoilers we manufacture are factory replicas, so you cannot
tell the difference between ours and theirs. If there is no factory
style spoiler for your car, a universal spoiler may be the answer.
|
| Q2:
Can I get a painted spoiler for an older car? A2:
Yes! Our painting facility is the largest in Northeast Ohio, and
it is set up to paint spoilers in factory colors as far back as
1991, in many cases. You provide us with the color name and color
code located on your car, and we handle the rest.
|
| Q3:
Will the paint job on the spoiler match my car? A3:
We guarantee that each painted spoiler will match the factory paint
color. Our computerized mixing platform generates paint formulas
to match factory colors for all manufacturers. However, cars may
fade with age. Therefore, a very slight difference in color may
occur. (In fact, if you look at your car very closely, you may notice
that different parts of your car may have slight variations in color,
assuming your car still has the factory paint. For example, the
driver's door may not be the exact same color as the trunk. This
is normal.)

| Q4:
Can I install the spoiler myself, or do I need the help of a professional?
A4: All Sportwing
spoilers are ready for do-it-yourself installation. We provide you
with easy-to-follow instructions indicating everything you need
to know for a fast, efficient installation. It’s as simple
as: (1) measure a few distances on the trunk lid; (2) place the
spoiler on the trunk and outline the mounting feet; (3) remove the
spoiler and place a provided template on your outline, then drill
down through the spots indicated; (4) peel the paper liner from
mounting pads and stick the spoiler on your outline; (5) open the
trunk and drill up into the metal plate in the mounting feet; (6)
install your mounting screws with lock washers and tighten firmly.
(Detailed instructions for your specific make and model are included
in the box.)

| Q5:
How do I install my spoiler worry-free? A5:
Our easy-to-follow directions combined with the templates and double-sided
adhesive pads mean an easy installation without stress. Also, we
offer toll-free technical support in case you are not sure how to
do something. We can walk you through the installation over the
phone.
|
| Q6:
What kind of tools do I need to install a spoiler?
A6: All you
need are three common tools: (1) a tape measure to locate your installation
area; (2) a small hand-held drill (rechargeable is fine) with accompanying
drill bits; (3) a socket wrench to tighten down your mounting screws.
|
| Q7:
Do you have a warranty? A7:
All Sportwing products carry a five (5) years or 50,000 miles warranty
(the same as factory warranties) that covers any manufacturing or
painting defects. Our company has been in the automotive business
for nearly 30 years, so we have the experience to provide you with
solutions to any possible problems.
|
| Q8:
How much does the typical spoiler weigh? A8:
Most Sportwing spoilers weigh between three and six pounds.
|
Q9:
What is the difference between a genuine Sportwing spoiler and the
foam-filled wings sold by many other
companies? A9:
Our fiberglass spoilers are lightweight, yet they are sturdier than
most foam-filled wings sold by other companies. Our fiberglass spoilers
are not as susceptible to defects, such as splitting or bubbling.
When you buy a Sportwing spoiler, you are assured that it will be
durable enough to last -- we guarantee it.
